585,726. Hayrick lifters. DICKIE & SONS, Ltd., W., DUNLOP, G., and DUNLOP, W. Aug. 23, 1944, No. 16089. [Class 78 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXII] A hayrick lifter comprises a platform a mounted on a pair of wheels b, a yoke or hitch frame c for attachment to a tractor, the platform being tiltable with respect to the frame, and winding drums d for the ropes for drawing the ricks on to the platform. These drums are interconnected' and the shaft of one is connected by gearing f, g with a spindle h which is driven through bevel gearing j, k, spindle l and universal coupling m by a rod p connected to the power take-off shaft of the tractor.
