The inner end of the cutter bar is supported by stays D, D<SP>1</SP> universally jointed to the main frame and the outer end is raisable, by a cable C<SP>3</SP>, about a longitudinal pivot C<SP>2</SP>. The frame A<SP>1</SP> terminates in a spring-loaded clevis A.
