Abstract

584,657. Ventilating fans. ADAMTCHIK, M. T. Jan. 19, 1945, No. 1581. [Class 110 (i)] Guide vanes 10 are made integral with the fan casing 9 and a nut 12 which, either, forms the stator of the motor 16, being held between the end-plates 13, 14 of the motor, or closely embraces the motor stator. The parts 9, 10 and 12 may be cast integrally or fabricated in one piece from sheet metal. The nut 6 of the impeller overlaps the motor end-plate 13. The vanes 10 may be on either the inlet or the delivery side of the impeller. Specification 323,231, [Class 110 (i)], is referred to.
