583,702. Eyeleting. PAPER FASTENERS, EYELETS & METAL SMALLWARES, Ltd., GLASSPOOL, J., and BISHTON, A. H. Nov. 18, 1944, No. 22971. [Class 43]. [Also in Group VIII] A hand-press for eyeleting material is constructed of, two main parts one comprising a base 1 and a main frame 2, and the other a lever member 6, preferably of trough cross section, which is connected to the frame 2 by means of a hook 7 engaging a cross bar 8, and the lever 6 is normally kept raised by means of a spring blade 10, which maintains engagement of the hook 7 with bar 8. The bar 8 is received between spaced cheeks forming part of the frame 2, and the upper tool 11 is carried by a plunger 5 connected by a pivot 5a to a ball or roller arranged within the trough of the lever member 6. The lower tool 4 is mounted in the base 1.
