C. prime mover is regulated by either sliding or rotary movement of a piston valve member under control of a barometric device through a servomotor system (see Group XXIX) whilst movement in the other direction is effected independently by manually operable or other means. The fuel output from a variable delivery pump may also be controlled by the regulated pressure drop and the temperature conditions.
