582,651. Condensers. TELEGRAPH CONDENSER CO., Ltd., and SPORING, P. A. Aug. 8, 1944, No. 15043. [Class 37] A stack of mica sheets 1 and pieces of metal foil 2 is secured together by an insulating clip or binder 6 disposed around the central part of the stack, and terminal wires &c. 4 are spot-welded to the ends 3 of the foils which are folded back on to the top of the stack. The binder 6 may be a strip of cellulose acetate, the overlapping ends of which are secured together by a solvent such as acetone, or if a polythene strip is used, by heat and pressure. The stack is enclosed in a moulded insulating casing.
