Abstract

580,992. Radiators. MORRIS HEATING APPLIANCES, Ltd., and FAIR, F. G. Oct. 23, 1944, No. 20534. [Class. 64 (ii)] A radiator comprises oil-filled radiator sections 1 arranged in groups A, B which are spaced apart and joined at or near their upper and lower ends by connecting tubes 4, 5. The tube 5 is of rectangular cross-section and is traversed by a vertical centrally-located conduit 6 serving for the passage of hot gases from a burner 7 to a flue chamber C which is defined at its sides by the adjacent radiator sections and at its front and back by sheet metal walls constituted by upward extensions of the front and back walls of said tube 5 and is provided with an outer cover 10. The burner 7 may be replaced by an electric heater. Specification 455,634, [Group XI], is referred to.
