545,303. Combined solid fuel and electric stove. WARE, J., O'GRADY, J. J., MURPHY, J., and WALSH, M. Feb. 11, 1941, No. 1860. Convention date, April 19, 1940. [Class 126] A cooking range heated by solid fuel or electricity comprises a grate A, a boiler B preferably U-shaped in plan at the back and sides of the grate, a breeches pipe C leading to a flue E, an oven D fitted with electric heating elements H, and a hot plate F fitted with electrically heated sections G. By the operation of a valve V the products of combustion may be conveyed to the flue either under the hot plate and around the oven or directly over the boiler. An immersion or other electric heater may be arranged in the boiler.
