Feb. 22, 1945, No. 4434 [Class 7 (iii)] [Also in Groups XXVI and XXVIII] In regulating mechanism for a fuel injection pump for compression ignition engines, the position of the plungers is controlled by a pawl or abutment 17 whose setting is normally governed by a set screw 14 carrying a plunger 16. These are carried on a member 10 which may be moved aside so that the plunger clears the pawl, enabling this to move into an engine stopping position. The member 10 moves against a spring 23 whereby the set screw &c. is returned to the normal position.
