Abstract
577,506. Paper bags. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. May 11, 1944, No. 8998. Convention date, Dec. 24, 1943. [Class 94 (ii)] A two-ply, gusseted bag 1, has an inner lining of impervious, heatsealable material 2, preferably rubber hydrochloride film, the bottom edges of which are heated and pressed together to form a seam 6. Triangular ears 7 are then folded towards one another, at the dotted lines, and the wings of paper 10, 11, 12, 13 also folded in and united by adhesive. The top of the bag may be sealed in a similar manner. Fig. 3 shows the bag bottom with wings 11, 13 not yet folded in.
