Abstract
574,594. Discharge apparatus. M-O VALVE CO., Ltd., and COSGROVE, C. W. Feb. 2, 1944, No. 1914. [Class 39 (i)] A valve of the type in which an elongated cathode 12 within an envelope 1 co-operates with two electrode systems to form effectively two valves, has a flat base 2 closing the envelope and one electrode system has two control grids 13 and 14 and is placed next to the base, while the other system has only one control grid 18 and is placed above the first system. In the example shown, the valve is a combined triode hexode for use in a frequency-changing circuit.
