[Class 122 (v)] In an oil seal of the kind comprising a rubber or like sealing washer 3 having an axially directed sealing lip 4 and secured to a metal casing 2, the latter is of plain cylindrical form such as may be produced by parting off from a length of tubular stock. The seal may be of internal or external type.
