[Class 122(v)] [Also in Group XL] A shaft 1 is packed where it passes through the gland 2 by rubber rings 9 held in grooves 8, the rings being interference fits with the shaft, but having some axial clearance. The bush is sealed to the panel by the rubber ring 6. Specifications 587,248 and 587,249 are referred to.
