Abstract
573,876. Ottoman-washbasins &c. ROBINSON, H. R. Dec. 21, 1943, No. 21412. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii)] The box portion of an ottoman 1 is divided into two or more compartments, one to receive drawers 3 and another to hold a wash basin unit. The drawers may pull out from the end or the front. An intermediate compartment or drawer may be located between the drawer section and the wash basin section. The wash basin unit 6 is accessible by tipping up the seat portion 1<x>, the basin unit then being pulled up to the requisite height and held there by stops 9, on the unit, engaging notched bars 8. To lower, the notched bars are pulled away from the stops by a foot lever 12. A mirror 14 behind a shelf 15 can be raised up to position on hinged supports 16. The end door 17 may carry a towel rail 18 &c. The end rest 2 is adjustable.
