708,787. Furniture combinations. THOMAS, E. S. June 26, 1953 [June 24, 1952], No. 15847/52. Class 52(3) A furniture unit for caravans and other dwellings of restricted space comprises a horizontally sliding pull-out bed which slides over a bath, the bed being mounted below or at the base of a wardrobe or other cupboard. As shown the bed unit 1 is mounted in the base of the wardrobe 3 and slides on runners 8 over .the bath 2, the bed being arranged to slide a sufficient amount as to leave a settee seat having a back rest which is mounted on the front door and panel of the wardrobe. A kitchen cabinet 4 with work table 5 is mounted in the rear of the wardrobe and over the bath 2, as is also a hinged wash basin 6 having a tap 7. A door 10 is arranged in the end, of the wardrobe so that the back rest 9 may not be disturbed when access is desired to the interior of the wardrobe.
