The drawers 5 of a chest of drawers, dressing table, sideboard or the like slidable on rails 6 into a cabinet part 4 have at each end a transverse groove or hand hold 8 and front and rear faces 5a, 5b, having different decorative coverings so that by reversing the drawer in the cabinet a different appearance may be obtained. Rails 9 fit between the drawers in slots in the framework so as to be also reversible.
