673,122. Washstands ; cabinets; furniture combinations. GENT, Ltd., R. and GENT, R. T. Oct. 11, 1950. [Oct. 24, 1949] No. 27263/49. Classes 52 (i) and 52 (iii). [Also in Group I] A wash basin 7 is mounted on a wall 3 carrying on hinges two cabinet parts 5, 6 which can be swung inwards to enclose the basin, wheels 16 running on guides 17. Each cabinet part contains a drawer assembly 10 carrying the wheels 16, a shelf 14, racks 15 and a two part top 18, 19 the latter of which may be mounted on the former by friction hinges and may be backed by a mirror. The cabinet is lined with splash protectives. The base comprises a central part 21 joined by projections and keyhole slots to curved end parts 22. The plumbing is concealed by a false back 30 and passes either through the back wall 3 or to an opening in the back of one of the base sections 22. It may be connected by flexible couplings to the main plumbing. The back 3 may carry above the cabinet either a splash-screen and shelf or a mirror, the latter enabling the cabinet when closed to serve as a dressing table.
