927,063. Cabinets combinable with sink units. M. F. SIMMONS. Sept. 21. 1961 [Feb. 9, 1961; July 14, 1961], Nos. 4880/61 and 25603/61. Class 52(3). A cabinet has a removable or hinged top and an open or closed front. As shown, draining- board 1 forms the top of the cabinet which is connected with a sink unit 11. Several alternative hingeing arrangements for the board 1 are described. The interior of the cabinet may be fitted with shelves and the front with doors. Alternatively, the cabinet may house an independent washing-machine or other kitchen equipment. An ironing board may be temporarily attached to the underside of the board 1 or an ironing board may be permanently attached to the underside of a removable board (Figs. 7 arid 8, not shown). Alternatively, the underside of a removable board may be provided with a padded ironing surface (Fig. 9, not shown).
