Abstract
674,685. Cabinets. SUMMERS, J. Oct. 25, 1950. [May 12, 1950] No. 11913/50. Class 52 (i). A shelf or tray 10 slides in runners 12 secured to the side walls 11 of a cabinet and is pivotally connected to two straight links 14 each of which is pivotally connected at one end to a bracket 17 fixed to a door 13 and the other end to the rear under-side of the shelf 10, so that the shelf is withdrawn when the doors are opened. If only one door is provided, then a single link 14 is used. Stops may be provided to limit the extent of withdrawal. The links are attached at their inner ends to a plate 15 secured to the underside of the shelf by screws passing through slots 16 in the plate 15 to give adjustment. Alternatively the links may be directly pivoted to the shelf. Several shelves may be individually connected in this manner to the doors or they may be linked together to a single pair of links 14.
