Abstract
570,059. Current transformers. HOBSON, A., and SMITH & CO. (TRANSFORMERS), Ltd., F. C. Dec. 15, 1943, No. 21026. Addition to 555,739. [Class 38 (ii)] Phase angle and ratio errors are eliminated from a current transformer comprising a primary 1 and secondary 3 on a core 2 by injecting into the secondary circuit a voltage derived from a secondary 5 on a core 6 of a compensating transformer excited by the current in the primary 1, the voltage being determined by an impedance 9 connected directly across the secondary 5 instead of across a tertiary winding on the core of the compensating transformer as in the parent Specification.
