Abstract
568,349. Printing-machines. MILLER PRINTING MACHINERY CO. Aug. 1, 1941, No. 12464/42. Convention date, Aug. 3, 1940. Divided out of 568,346. [Class 100 (ii)] Inking apparatus.-Forme-inking rollers 4, 5, 6, particularly of a flat bed press, are raised from the forme when the press is idle, by lifting one end only of the rollers by means of a bar 274 engaging beneath the roller shafts and connected by levers 273, 276 to the frame 2, the bar being actuated by a handle 278. The rolley 4 is supported at its ends in half yokes 267 in which it is retained by spring- latches 268. The rollers 5 and 6 are supported respectively in vertical and inclined forks 269, 270. The half yoke and forks are carried by stems 262 adjustable by screws 265.
