[Class 99 (i)] A swivel coupling comprises a coupling member 10 having a plurality of thinwalled cylindrical extensions 16, 17 which overlap rigid surfaces 18, 19 on the coupling member 11 and are forced into contact therewith by wedge rings 38 under the action of springs 40. The thinwalled sleeves are initially of slightly larger diameter than the sockets into which they fit. An intermediate member having self-lubricating properties may be inserted between the rigid and resilient surfaces. Specification 292,387, [Class 99 (i)], is referred to.
