564,872. Circular - saw machines. BALLINGER, L. J. H. May 28, 1943, No. 8562. [Classes 60 and 145 (ii)] In a circular-saw machine, the work is held at any desired angle relatively to the saw between a rotatable front face member 2, which may be locked in the desired angular position, and slidable jaws 25 on opposite sides of the saw. The jaws are biassed to gripping position, but are moved away from the front face member by depressing a pedal 18 against the force of springs 15. The jaw blocks are pivotally mounted in their supporting members so as to grip work of angular or round crosssection.
