[Class 75 (iii)] A pipe or cigarette lighter for use on motor vehicles comprises a non-conducting wick torch h normally retained in a bell-mouthed tubular housing a of insulating material by a ball catch f. On withdrawal of the torch an electrical circuit is completed between a high tension electrode b and an earthed spring or springs d in the housing a by a conducting member q on the torch and the metal wicktube m, the spark produced igniting the wick n. The wick torch has a flame aperture o, air holes p, and a filling cap k. The bell-mouthed end of the housing a is formed with air holes e.
