564,474. Automatic guns. DOBREMYSL, J. Nov. 17, 1939, No. 30243. [Classes 92 (ii) and 119] Relates to light automatic guns of the kind which are supported by a short bipod x for firing in the prone position, a rear support 1, Fig. 2, being provided in the form of a pivoted shoulder piece which normally closes the rear of the mechanism casing. According to the invention, the shoulder piece 2 and its associated parts, including the trigger mechanism, is arranged for sliding movement in the casing and, when moved rearwardly, can be tilted downwardly. Fig. 3 shows the shoulder piece support 1 slidably carried by the casing 9 which has lugs 12 with slots 8 to receive flats 7 on a pin 6 that can pivot in the lugs 12 at the end of the rearward movement. The breech mechanism parts can then be removed rearwardly, as shown in Fig. 2, while the shoulder piece rests on the ground. The guides for the part 1 in the casing 9 are designed to strengthen the sides of the casing in the firing position.
