564,351. Electromagnetic relays. LANDIS & GYR SQC. ANON. Aug. 19, 1942, No. 11647. Convention date, Aug. 21, 1941. [Class 38 (v)] In a relay or other device having a tilting armature 1 actuated to alternative positions by the alternate energization of two electromagnets, the armature has parts 2 adapted to enter holes in the cores 4. This makes the attractive force more nearly comparable with the opposing spring bias throughout the movement and enables the relay to be of smaller dimensions. Specification 494,792, [Group XXXVIII], is referred to.
