Abstract

562,393. Valves. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Dec. 24, 1942, No. 18332. Convention date, Dec. 27, 1941. [Class 135] A valve 14 is carried by a stud 21 passing through a bushing 31 and secured to a sleeve 22, and a flexible metal bellows 51 is secured to the bushing and sleeve, which have interlocking projections to prevent relative rotation. The stud is secured in the valve by coaction of a shoulder 24 and nut 25, and a shoulder 26 assists in maintaining proper relation. The operating spindle 41 has a head 42 retained in a recess in the sleeve 22 by a nut 43.
