562,265. Knitting - machines. WILDMAN MFG. CO. Oct. 7, 1942, No. 21418/43. Convention date, Oct. 18, 1941. Divided out of 562,243. [Class 74 (ii)] A welt rod 170 for a straight-bar machine is provided with plates 176 adjacent its ends, and pins 177 having grooves 178 to receive hooks upon the usual take-up belts are secured to the inner faces of the plates. When the rod is automatically dislodged from a support and falls upon the partly knitted welt, the projecting parts 175 of the rod are guided upon rails. Specification 562,243 is referred to.
