560,190. Spray-producers. SUTHERLAND, T. S. Dec. 4, 1942, No. 17276. [Class 69 (iii)] An atomizer for atomizing and mixing a liquid and a gas comprises a body member 1 formed with two outlet passages 2, 3, one for the liquid and one for the air or gas, and a deflector member 5 formed with a number of deflecting surfaces of different forms arranged so that any one thereof may be brought into operative position as required. The deflecting surfaces may be constituted by a number of grooves 8 of different forms which vary the outlet for, or angle of deflection of, the issuing medium.
