[Class 69 (iii)] The width or cross-section of a flat jet of paint &c. atomized by air or gas is modified by the action of one or more further gas or air jets having a greater velocity than the paint jet. The flat nozzle 1a of the atomized paint jet is surrounded by a nozzle 2 for the " deformation " air or gas jet, which may be adjustable axially in relation to the inner nozzle. Specifications 543,476 and 529,316 are referred to.
