Abstract

555,762. Hot-water boilers. MANTLE LAMP CO. March 3, 1942, No. 2803. Convention date, March 3, 1941. [Class 64 (i)] A pipe 12 extending through a boiler flue 11 and connected to the top and bottom of the boiler is provided with a number of laterally extending inclined baffles 31a, which may be formed from sheet metal discs slit radially and bent to similar inclinations between the slits. The pipe is detachably connected to inlet and outlet unions 14, 15 on the boiler. The boiler may be supported by legs engaging a ring 32 at the bottom of the packing 2 between the boiler shell 17 and an outer shell 16.
