[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 11, 1939.] [Class 64 (i)] A boiler supplying hot water or steam for central heating comprises a water - containing shell 1 with one or more corrugated flue tubes 6 therein and having a rectangular bend; a water outlet 5 at the end of the horizontal portion and a water inlet 4 in a water-filled extension 8 of the vertical part of the shell, which extends below the flue tube and around a burner 10 consuming oil under pressure. The shell and tube may be circular or rectangular in cross-section. U.S.A. Specification 1,916,625 is referred to.
