[Class 135] A method of regulating and dividing the supply of water to conduits which are either branched or connected in parallel particularly adapted for use in connection with the feedwater supply to steam generators has the water supply to each individual conduit given a rotary movement along such a path that the centrifugal force of the water counteracts the water supply. As shown in the Figures the entrance to each conduit 2 is fitted with a whirling chamber 6 having a tangential inlet 7 and a central axial discharge aperture 8. A perforated spiral-shaped guide wall 9 may be provided between the flat walls of the whirling chamber so that if the velocity of the water decreases suddenly the remaining rotating ring of water is checked by the said guide.
