[Class 38 (ii)] In a high voltage transformer in which the interwinding insulation consists of a flanged insulating cylinder, in order to facilitate assembly and repair the cylinder is made in two telescoping parts c, d each having a flange of increased thickness c1, dl at one end, the space between the flangeless end of the outer cylinder c and the flange of the inner cylinder d being filled by a tapered extension c2 on the outer cylinder.
