539,556. Annealing - chambers. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., JENKINS, I., and WILLIAMS, S. V. March 18, 1940, No. 5021. [Class 51 (ii)] [Also in Group II] In the bright annealing of copper or its alloys in an annealing chamber of which the walls are made of metal or alloy containing one or more of iron, nickel and chromium, the walls are coated on their interior surface with non-ferrous metal such as aluminium or copper so as to prevent staining of the charge during annealing. The aluminium coating may be produced by painting or spraying the walls with aluminium paint and dispersing the vehicle of the paint. Specification 180,175, [Class 82 (ii)], is-referred to.
