Abstract

534,596. Drying films and other materials. KODAK. Ltd. March 21. 1940, No. 5287. Convention date, June 17, 1939. [Class 34 (i)] The material F is passed through a closed chamber to which air is admitted under pressure through nozzles 16, the size of the inlet and outlet openings for the material corresponding substantially to the width and thickness of the material whereby the air in escaping under pressure therethrough removes the moisture. The inlet and outlet openings may be formed between pairs of rollers 9, and one of each pair may be pressed towards the other by a light spring.
