Abstract
533,437. Boots &c. RILEY. H. Aug. 5, 1939, No. 22,773. [Class, 17 (ii)] A boot &c. having a support for the longitudinal and d metatarsal arches, such as described in Specification 533,435, is provided with a sole 7 which is scarfed as shown at 3, 4, Fig. 2, on that side which comes next to the insole The heel 6 is built of a number of lifts which are shaped so as to extend further under the shank on the inside 6a than on the outside 6b. The shoe is fitted with a steel shank stiffener, located beneath a fibre support. Specification 533,436 also is referred to.
