Abstract
532,253. Wireless receivers. FABRICA ITALIANA MAGNETI MARELLI. July 19, 1939, No. 20989. Convention date, July 21, 1938. [Class 40 (v)] [Also in Group XXXVI] The components of a wireless receiver are assembled separately instead of on the normal chassis and are built into the cabinet partly round the sides of the speaker and partly on an elongated support arranged between the components round the speaker and the back of the cabinet. The mains transformer 8 and rectifying valve 9 are mounted on one side of the speaker and the tuning condensers 12 and high frequency coil assemblage 10 on the other. The valves 7 and L.F. transformers 6 are arranged in a single row on an elongated chassis 5. The tuning dial comprises a graduated scale 13 carried by uprights 14 and a pointer 15 reciprocated by an endless band 16 passing over pulleys 17, 19. The wave change switch is controlled by a knob 11 and the volume by a knob 21.
