[Class 52 (ii)] Furniture cabinets &c. have curved corners formed by securing to rabbeted edges of spaced members b, c flexible strips d of pulp board, vulcanized fibre &c. to form a surface flush with the surface of the members b, c to which a veneer is secured. The veneered members are pressed in the flat and then bent to form the corner. The panels b. c may be fixed to supporting framework h, k or the flexible cover may be secured to a separate fixture k, a beading I being used to cover the joint. The flexible joints may also be used to form serpentine corners.
