241,354. Barikoff, T. E. Sept. 12, 1924. Corner strengthening- pieces. - The corners or joints of boxes, &c., composed of wood, fibre board, cement or plaster compositions or the like, are strengthened by incorporating therein one or more pieces of multi-ply wood. The multi-ply pieces C, D are preferably secured in recesses or rebates in the abutting members by countersunk screws, with or without the use of glue or other adhesive. Specification 138,664 is referred to.
