523,391. Drying grain NEWMAN, J. E., and KENNEDY, D. S. Feb. 27, 1939, Nos. 6427, and 19328. [Class 34 (ii)] A fan a draws air from a heater b through grain-drying chambers c' and delivers it to ducts e, f fitted with dampers e<1>, f<1> and a valve v. The duct e is led below a receiving bin g for moist grain which is elevated by the blast through an extension e<2> to the top of the drier ; it is winnowed in a chamber h for a cover for a top bin which feeds the chambers c<3>. The duct f is led below a collector i for the dried grain which is elevated through an extension f<2> to a winnowing chamber j at the top of a sacking bin k. A pivoted flap q on the top of the heater regulates the supply of hot or cold air to the fan.
