521,931. Wireless receiving sets. RADIOWERK E. SCHRACK AKT.-GES. Nov. 28, 1938, No. 34642. Convention date, Nov. 30, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] The chassis of a wireless receiver is made up of a number of units comprising an insulating plate 1 on which are mounted circuit components such as ironcore inductances 2, 3, choke 4, trimmer and padding condensers 5 ... 9 and a waveband switch 12. The wiring 15, 16 comprises metal strips moulded into or stencilled on or secured to the plate 1, which has a projection 14 arranged to pass through a slit 19 in a horizontal support 18 as shown in Fig. 3. Several units 17 may be so mounted in line, the switches being ganged at 20, and the valve-holders 21 are mounted between the units. The units 17 may be screened by means of a six-compartment metal container 22, Fig. 4, grooves 24 being provided to receive the panels. Fig. 5 shows a complete assembly for a superheterodyne receiver, the assembly 18; 22 being made as described above with the tuning condenser assembly 26 mounted centrally on the panel 18. The mains unit 30 and low frequency output stage 29 are mounted level with 18 to facilitate short wiring.
