[Class 40 (v)] In a valve having a cathode C, control grid G1, screen grid G2, suppressor grid Cr3, and anode A, positive reaction is derived from an auxiliary grid G4 beyond the suppressor grid. The reaction circuit includes a coil L coupled to the input circuit and connected through a variable resistance R to positive battery, as shown, or through a variable condenser to ground, Fig. 2 (not shown).
