518,008. Moulding plastic materials. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Aug. 31, 1938, No. 25511. Convention date, Aug. 31, 1937. Drawings to Specification. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group IV] . Electric conductors are insulated by extruding thereon a solvent-free non-aqueous polyvinyl acetal resin or composition heated to plasticity, with preheating and/or after-heating of the conductor, to temperatures lower than, equal to or above the extrusion temperature of the resin which may be thermo-hardened by the treatment. There may be used the resin compositions of Specification 518,006, [Group IV]. The coating may be applied to conductors already enamelled. Specifications 351,082<*> and 460,347, [both in Group IV], are referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 refers also to the subject-matter of Specification 518,006, as open to inspection under Sect. 91. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
