[Class 87 (ii).] Articles are manufactured from artificial resin bv intro ducing a member of fired ce ramic material, such as steatite into a mould and moulding i in with the resin at a part o the article which is likely to be subjected to heat. An electric switch plate is formed of a steatite plate b surrounded by an artificial resin support a. An insulating stand for electric cookers is similarly formed. The resin may be mixed with a filler. Specification 306,249, [Class 87 (ii), Moulding plastic &c. substances], is referred to.
