Abstract
513,145. Cooling air. FLEISHER, W. L. July 19, 1938, No. 21388. [Class 64 (iii)] Air cooling or conditioning apparatus comprises cooling units 4, 5, 6 connected in parallel between refrigerant supply and discharge pipes 7, 8 and arranged across an open-ended casing. Moisture is precipitated only from that portion of the air which flows through all the units. The temperature of the units is controlled by a valve in the supply pipe 7, said valve being regulated either manually or automatically in accordance with atmospheric conditions. In a modification, the refrigerant passes in succession through the units 4, 5, 6. In another arrangement, the refrigerant flows in series through the units 12 ... 17, Fig. 3.
