[Class 83 (iv)] A process for the heat treatment of non- austenitic steels that are heat resisting and substantially non-corrosive with carbon content less than 0À15 per cent, chromium over' 6 per cent, aluminium over 0À2 per cent. or silicon over 0À4 per cent consists in forging or otherwise working same at temperatures in excess of 1,150‹C. Such steels are suitable for drop forging.
