Abstract
335,588. Rosenhain, W., and Jenkins, C. H. M. April 23, 1929. Alloys.-Iron-chromium-nickel-tungsten alloys contain over 40 per cent of chromium and nickel together, the ratio of chromium to nickel being between 2:3 and 1:1, together with at least 1 per cent of carbon or silicon or both. The chromium and nickel together may be about 50- 60 per cent, and the tungsten 4-20 per cent or more. The alloys may contain 1.5 per cent of carbon and 0.5 per cent of silicon, or 1.5 per cent of carbon and 1 per cent of silicon, or 1 per cent of carbon and 1.5 per cent of silicon.
