Abstract
508,207. Minifolding - pads &c. GREENAWAY, D. 13. Dec. 29, 1937, No. 36034. [Class 16] In a manifolding-pad of the kind comprising at least two paper sheets 1 and a carbon sheet 2 interleaved between each adjacent pair of paper sheets, all the sheets being bound together at one edge to form a stub 3 and perforated at 4 adjacent the stub, and a portion 7 of each paper sheet extending beyond the carbon sheet or sheets and a portion 2a of each carbon sheet extending beyond the paper sheets in such manner that the projecting portions of the paper and carbon sheets are free to be gripped by hand before the sheets have been separated from the stub, the perforations 4 are such that the bond between any one carbon sheet and the stub is not less than the bond between any one paper sheet and the stub whereby neither the paper nor the carbon sheets are likely to be unintentionally separated from the stub. Tho paper sheets 1 may have further perforations such as 8 or 9. The pad may be modified in several ways as regards the projecting portions of the paper and carbon sheets.
