Abstract
240,548. Huckman, A. J., and Bennett Bros., Ltd. July 3, 1924. Writing-blocks; block-holders. -A manifold writing book or pad, in which the sheets are connected together at the lower edges, is carried by a retaining- device arranged at the lower edge of a cover h and consisting of rotatable pins j having their upper ends bent at rightangles, so that in one position they can pass through perforations in the bound edge of the sheets, but prevent removal of the pad when turned from that position. The sheets are folded and perforated at b to form original and duplicate sheets a<1>, a, and are bound together by extensions of the duplicate sheets a, perforations being provided to enable the sheet a to be detached from its extension. A sheet e of carbon paper is bound with the pad.
